About us
A local team,
since 2010.
We're a family-run driveway firm based in Cheadle. Small enough that the person who quotes your drive is on site when it's laid, established enough to stand behind the work for a decade.
Millbrook started in 2010 with one idea that still runs the business: most driveway problems are groundwork problems, and the firms that cut corners on the dig and the drainage are the ones you hear about two winters later. We built a reputation doing the invisible half properly.
Since then we've laid more than 900 driveways across Cheadle, Stockport and the towns around them — block paving, resin-bound, natural stone, tarmac and the groundworks under all of them. We've stayed deliberately local. Working the SK postcodes we live in means we know the ground before we dig it, the housing before we design for it, and which streets sit inside a conservation area before we quote.
We're not the cheapest quote through your door, and we won't pretend to be. What you get instead is a written, itemised price, a base and drainage built to last, tidy people who clear up every night, and a ten-year guarantee that covers the workmanship — not just the blocks.
What we stand behind
The base comes first
Every drive is a groundworks job with a surface on top. We dig properly, build the sub-base in layers and drain it deliberately. The bit you never see is the bit that lasts.
Straight prices
Written, itemised quotes covering base, surface and drainage. No day-one bargain that grows halfway through, no extras that appear once the old drive is up.
Accredited & insured
Marshalls Register no. 00000, FeRFA installers, TrustMark no. 0000000, and members of Buy With Confidence. Fully insured, with a guarantee in writing.
We clear up
Skips and materials kept tidy, the site swept at the end of each day, and the drive left clean at handover. You share a street with your neighbours; so do we.
Talk to the people who'll do the work
No call centres, no subcontracted strangers. Ring the yard or send a few photos and you'll speak to someone who'll be on your drive.
